The Society's response to my letter regarding my dad's suicide

well, i finally got a response to my letter, and it only took them almost three months!

models of efficiency, they are.

actually, big tex and i think they had to run this through the legal department.

There is no justice as long as the wicked are in the role of leadership. Right is right and what they did is wrong. The saddest thing is that their actions will go unpunished because society punishes the victims and protects the evil-doer. I sit here sharpening my sword, poundering the possiblities of a world where justice was metered out to punish the guilty and comfort the victims and their families. Thankfully I am a man of peace.

What do you all think of this suit?

when i was 4 , my grandmother gave me a beautiful little gray suit.

i loved it..... on easter, we went to a park with a playground, (i guess this is why i chose "physical activities" for my category for this post) and i fell.

i cut my knee badly but, more important, i ruined my little gray suit.

Lurkers! How the Watchtower Could Change!

let it not be said that we are only capable of bashing the watchtower society.. for once, let me point out how simple it would be for them to change into a more.

humane, tolerant and christian organization.. first, print some strong articles on voluntary service.

after a few months of emphasis.

Trouble is they would have to own up to their mistakes and swallow their pride.

Think of all the families that could be reunited though if they would take your suggestion to heart.

On topic now,

I honestly can't think of a living soul that I could consider as my idol. I whoud have to say that I hold in high regard certain qualities. Honor, loyalty, compassion, truthfulness, justice. No one I know has all of these qualities in sufficient quantity to deserve idol status. Real life prohibits us from fully embracing these qualities and making them our own. All aspects of our lives has been reduced to political correctness and shades of gray.

I think Moe hit it pretty damn close. I would be proud to be the best person I could aspire to be.

I know how you feel. Been there, done that. My parents are the same way. Sometimes it's Ok to put on some Barry Manilow and curl up with a pizza and 1/2 gallon of ice cream.

I did find though that when I get that down I take "The Insanity Test"

any woman who has reached the pinnacle of heartless bitchiness, has had to deal with (and may even have gone out with) a "himbo" or two in her life.

for those who aren't familiar with the term, himbos are the male equivalent to bimbos... .

we are talking about the kind of guy who is so good-looking, that when he walks into a room, everyone, (men and women, both) notice him.
